Nature’s Way

30 Mar

I have been busy busy getting everything prepared for the upcoming Nature’s Way show, starting this week at the Grant Bradley Gallery here in Bristol.

I have got my new cards all sorted and a new website – which is somewhat sparse at the moment, but should hopefully be much more interesting by the end of the week (in theory!).

You can have a look at it here or click on my new link on the right side of your screen.

Photo shoot

16 Mar

Team Ward met up with photographer extraordinaire, Rosie Parsons this week for a bridal photo shoot. It was a long day, but it was very fun and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final images! 🙂

To read more about the shoot and to learn some more about Rosie and her work go to: foreverafterimages.com

Team Ward heartily recommend Rosie for photographic brilliance at all times – thanks doll – you are the coolest! x

Everything’s going to be all white…

9 Mar

I have been asked to participate in an exhibition about the natural world at the Grant Bradley Gallery in Bristol next month (hurrah!). There are quite a few new plans afoot for my paper entomology artwork at the moment, so for this exhibit, I have decided to do something a bit different…

Here’s a couple of pics as a taster. Hopefully they should look great in white frames up against the white walls of the gallery.

More details on the exhibition to follow.

Last friday evening saw the opening of the new Shop Dutty on Cheltenham Road in Bristol.

I have been doing some work towards the branding for the shop for the last few weeks with Daddison – it was great to see everything finally coming together… Congratulations Louisa and Joh – the girls done good!!

Having a wedding takes a whole lot of organisation and is a good thing…

Therefore, please excuse me as I indulge myself by harping on about mine for a while 😀

Firstly, I’ll start with this pic of me and the man in all our finery:

Didn’t we scrub up nice?

Don’t be deceived by the stony expressions here. We smiled continuously for about 12 hours that day and this was one of the only chances we had to rest our aching faces!!

Here’s what we’re wearing:

Me: The dress is by Daniela Benson who is a Bristol based designer and the shoes are Vivienne Westwood, Queen of everything!

Him: Suit, shirt and tie all from Gresham Blake and shoes from Church’s, of course.

A full write up of weddingness can be found here at offbeatbride.com where the lovely Ariel was kind enough to include my bride profile (very proud :D).
