Special treats…

I LOVE a trip into Palma – it’s such a beautiful city and the shopping is fantastic!

We found this wonderful old place this time whilst we were there – I think it may well be my new favourite shop of all time…

It is called El Bazar Del Libro and it is a treasure trove of old books, magazines, maps, prints – you name it. We only had about 15 minutes to look round before it closed when we got there, but I probably could have spent an entire day snuffling around if they’d have let me!

(prob just as well we couldn’t stay longer really, as I’d have needed an extra suitcase to bring everything I’d have bought back home again!)

If you are visiting Palma De Mallorca anytime, I strongly recommend you go in for a little look see. There is a map to find the place here.

Check out the rest of this post to see what I bought…

19th Century Virgin Mary:

19th Century Saint Héléne:

(both of these prints were bought unframed – but how great do they look in these glass frames?)

Old cigar boxes for stashing more little treasures:

Loads of musical score that I am going to cut up and use for my butterfly artwork – mmmmm!:
